New Years Eve Party
We'll be having fresh crab, sushi compliments of Mike Wright, scampi, clam chowder, (fresh clams, of course) French bread, baked potatoes, salad and all the fixin's.
Everyone is asked to bring a lemon and a cube of (real) butter, and anyone wanting to bring a dessert to share would be most appreciated.
Shay Dillon band, (formerly cousin cricket) will begin around nine with lobsters taking the plunge around 5:00. We'll cook your lobster for ya whenever you're ready.
Lobsters must be ordered by Christmas and those who can pre-pay please do so by the 28th as I will be picking them up the morning of new year's eve.

We're working on places for people to stay who don't want to drive and, as usual the bar will be open to brave overnighters. (bloody Marys and breakfast of course).
On September 14 (Sunday) there will be the 2nd annual Alleghany Days celebration in Alleghany and at Casey's Place. The festivities begin at high noon starting with a rock drilling contest, a mucking contest, double-jack and single-jack contest, flea market, storytelling by Carl "Chick" Cicogni at the church, Devil's Mtn. Brigade practice shoot and cannon firing at 3 PM, then live music by Cousin Cricket starts at 4 PM with a BBQ and dancing on the new deck at Casey's til ?
